Jamie Johnson, D.D.S.

Dr. Johnson was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to the U.S. in 1980.

Dr. Johnson is a top 10 honors graduate from Prince George High School in Prince George, VA.

College:

Dr. Johnson began his college education as an art major at Virginia Commonwealth University. After successfully completing the first portfolio building year, and being accepted into the coveted commercial arts college, Dr. Johnson made a life changing decision and chose to pursue his other passion: to help. He followed the pre-medical route in his remaining years at VCU and graduated with honors with a B.S. in biology.

Post-Graduate Education:

• Dr. Johnson has a certificate degree in Anatomy from MCV/VCU.

• Dr. Johnson has a Master’s degree in Biochemistry with a published thesis on chemical cascade pathways in brain cells from MCV/VCU.

• Dr. Johnson has a Doctorate in Dental Surgery and graduated with honors from MCV/VCU.

Dr. Johnson loves working with his hands. He believes he has found the perfect combination for his talents for the arts and his desire to help people. He hopes that his patients understand and believe, as he does, that every tooth that he works on is a piece of functioning and living art.
